What is green, makes a slight wumping noise and required a screw driver and a candle to assemble?
My wheel, of course. Yes, it is official assembled! I decided not to varnish it inasmuch as I’m not yet sure whether or how I might want to accent it (and I have enough frakkin stain to keep it looking fresh for a bloody long time… so no worries about fading). I managed to assemble most of it without the video, but the bit about using the candle wax on the tensioning screw made all the difference in the world.
A bit of a photo montage of the process. (None of me assembling as my photographer was at Karate at the time…)
I brought it home, in its box… so exciting
A. helped me unpack – and had fun with the Polish newspaper/tv guide that it was packed in.
Yeah!! We have all the pieces!!
Down to business – make over!!
I always did like green…
Drying… (have I mentioned patience isn’t my thing…)
Close-up worthy 😉
I’m going to try to make yarn now… bye…
